How To Use It

To use as a wash mitt:

1 Spray down your car with a hose or pressure washer to rinse any loose soils.

2 Fill a bucket with your preferred car wash. We recommend Hybrid Solutions PRO Pure Wash for an excellent pH-balanced, foaming car wash.

3 Wash your car, one panel at a time. Use the soft, chenille fiber side of your MaxShine Mitt to scrub and agitate the cleaner. Rinse the mitt in a bucket of clean water as needed.

4 Continue working your way around your car, washing one panel at a time, until you’ve cleaned the entire vehicle.

5 Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

To use as a clay mitt:

1 Apply your preferred clay lubricant to one 2’ x 2’ panel of your car, or refoam your freshly washed car with Hybrid Solutions PRO Pure Wash.

2 If this is your first time using your MaxShine Mitt, prep the mitt by rubbing the synthetic substrate side over your windshield to get the clay working.

3 Apply the clay side of the mitt in back-and-forth passes to pull embedded contaminants from the clear coat. Rinse your mitt in a bucket of clean water as needed.

4 Continue treating one panel at a time with the clay mitt, reapplying your lubricant as needed.

5 Rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

The soft fiber side features plush, durable piles of chenille microfiber that cut through dirt and grime in a matter of seconds. Use this side to scrub tough soils from your wheels, tires and painted surfaces without scratching or swirling your delicate clear coat.

The clay substrate side pulls embedded contaminants from the clear coat after a wash to prep your paint for polishing.

You can use this clay mitt 20-40 times before you need to replace it. And, unlike a clay bar, this dual-action mitt rinses easily in a bucket of clean water so it can be used again and again. Even if you drop it, you can wash it clean and keep going!
