BEST TIRE SHINE ON THE PLANET!
Anthony | Woodbridge, VA | 2.25.2012
I've tried other tire shines, from gels to sprays. This is overall the best tire shine available on the market! It's EXTREMELY easy and fast to apply! The durability is excellent, lasting through rain and snow! After the first try you will not want to use anything else!
Kirby | Fort Belvoir , VA | 3.2.2012
I put this tire shine on for the first time last night and was quite skeptical (especially with the price!) After a wash, dry, tire shine application it looked great. Still was skeptical, until the next morning. WOW! Tires still look absolutely awesome and are dry to the touch. No more nasty black streaks on my pants after I walk by the car. Fully recommend this product! Buy It Now!!!

This is most amazing product I have used for tire shine. It has lasted through several washes and I have only applied it one time. It looks amazing and is easy to use. Please keep this one on the market I could not see myself using anything else after using this product.
Joey | Bardstown, ky | 3.16.2012
This stuff is nothing but a mess to deal with. Looks good after you spend 2 hours getting it off your wheels. Waited 4 days to drive and stuff is peeling off and looks horrible. Now I'm going to have to spend another 4 hour scrubbing this crap off my tires. Worse $12 dollars I ever spent!!
RDE | WS, NC | 4.7.2012
Good product to use; a little costly, but keep tires looking good even after several weeks. I have been asked what I use on my tires. Even look good after washing your car.
Shaun | tampa, fl | 4.10.2012
After trying almost everything out there, I figured I'd give this a try. All I can say is WOW! Well worth the investment if you are tired of messy, time consuming shines that rub off after a car wash or a few days of driving. I put on the original coat and 3 days and several hundred miles of driving, the shine was still like new! I ran it through the car wash and it still looks as wet and shiny as the first day! The best part is it looks wet but is dry to the touch and not greasy!
horrible when comes off
shawn | Conklin, Michigan | 4.14.2012
First application looks great, even let it dry as directions 3 days. Comes off like sticky dandruff sling which sticks to everything. You will be trying to get it out of every crack and crevice on your car for weeks. May not show on light finish but A DARK FINISH car is a nightmare. White glue like dandruff everywhere. I REGRET THE PURCHASE AND APPLICATION.
Black Tire Coat
Brian | Zeeland, Michigan | 5.27.2012
This stuff is really great! It's easy to use, but I would put this on first before you wax or detail your car or truck. I put this on my tires in my garage with the doors closed and still had a lite coating all over the car. I had to go over the whole car and clean a second time. I would also suggest offering this product in "Satin or Semi-gloss" for those that don't care for the glossy look.
Worst stuff I ever used
Nick | hopewell, ny | 6.28.2012
At first it looks great. Comes off like sticky dandruff stuff which sticks to everything. I REGRET THE PURCHASE. Never again, tossed it in the garbage.
DO NOT USE
Nick | San Antonio, TX | 7.7.2012
This product is terrible. It leaves a sticky coating that is glossy, but catches nothing but dust. Your tires will look grey after one day of driving. I also have Rockstar rims that are flat black and it basically ruined my rims. The stuff will not come off. It has been months and I have tried rubbing for hours without success. The only product that I used that removed the coating also removed the paint from my rim. That is how ridiculous this coating is. Again, it is "glossy" but is also sticky and will turn everything grey with dust.
Best stuff ever reduces tire cleaning needed
Phil | Wheaton, IL | 7.26.2012
I first read Nick in Texas review and since I have had wild success with this product I think he missed step 3 in the instructions, let it dry 1 hour before driving. I have never had problems with dirt sticking to my tires as I spray it and let it dry overnight. Now my review. I have been looking for 2 years for something that looks wet but is dry to the touch so nothing sticks to it. This product is it. No longer do my tires attract the dirt and leaves etc that would blow into my garage and stick to my tires.I have always used spray silicone products on my daily drivers and my show car and along with the slinging, migration and short life of silicone it attracts dirt and brake dust as you drive. My show car just needs dusting but I would always be special washing my tires every week for shows. But no longer. After cleaning my tires I use my cardboard circle I cut out to protect my rim. Spray the product like you would silicone and let dry. It is tacky until it dries. The gloss is exactly as shown on the package when dry and you can run your hand across the tires and it feels like rubber. your hand is clean and dry. TIP. If you do not want that much gloss I spray it on a cloth and rub it on the tires and it comes out a lower sheen. But be quick about it as it dries faster this way. What is even greater about this product is my tires are now low maintenance and always look perfect. I can take a damp cloth and swipe it around my tire and it looks perfectly clean and like I just sprayed it. If a spot wears off or if I want to increase the shine you can touch up spots. For my regular cars I use the spray straight and it does last a long time I just do touch ups as needed. I thought the gloss out of the can was too much on my muscle car the first time spraying it and removed the coating after it had dried by rubbing it off with my fingers. Yes my thumb was sore the next day but the coating rolled off like clear rubber. That is when I tried the cloth for lower gloss. Only Negative is the nozzle seems to plug easily. It will build up and dry in the nozzle. Be sure to turn the can upside down and spray till clear then keep older nozzsles for ones that somehow gum up and plug. use a toothpick to clean out the nozzle works too. Since trying this product I haven't washed any of my 2 daily driver cars tires. I just wipe and or reapply if needed.

Looks excellent on first two tires, but on the second two, can started spitting instead of spraying. Did it take too long on the first two, or apply too much? For the price.... I don't know.....
Can ruin your day
Kyle | , pa | 8.28.2012
Followed directions exactly...Never had an issue with Turtle Wax products before but, if you use this product it will peel and when it does your tire looks like it is coming apart...You would have to scrub the stuff for days for it to come off and then I can only imagine what your tire looks like....I baby my suv and use all sorts of cleaning supplies but this product ruined the look of a perfectly clean suv...My tire stick out like a sore thumb...

Terrible, looked great at first, but then I couldn't get it off. It looks like a layer of black paint on your tire. Now after more than a month, my tires are yellowing/browning. The layer of tire coating is still on them and I have yellow/brown coating all over my tires and I can not get them off. I've tried scrubbing the tires and using tire cleaning products. I talked to a lady on the phone who worked for customer service and she said that she's heard of the same problem, and that I could get "soap and clear water" and wipe it off? Like that would work. After I told her I've tried it, she simply said to wait for it to wear off. This makes my tires look terrible, and I haven't added any more tire coating for more than a month, and they are not getting any better.
Sam | Lake mary, Fl | 1.30.2013
Turned my tires yellow, i called customer service and she just said it would come off in time. Its been months n it looks terrible
dana | fort lauderdale, florida | 3.12.2013
I used this stuff one time, I followed all the directions the correct way and I'm very fussy about what i use on my car. This stuff turned my tires yellow. I don't recommend it at all!

ITS THE BEST PRODUCT OUT IN THE MARKET LOOKS VERY SHINING NEVER STOP DOING THIS PRODUCT 100% THE BEST THANKS KEEPE IT UP GOOD JOB
Jeff | Hope Mills, North Carolina | 5.4.2013
This sucks... stay away from it. The very fine mist of over spray coated the wheels, truck and windshield and I was very careful spraying it on as per the directions. The only thing to get this off your tires is a brass scrub brush and lots of scrubbing. I am still trying to get the over spray off my wheels and I have to get some ultra fine steel wool to clean off the windshield. The over spray on the windshield looks like very fine pitting and is annoying when driving. I will admit the shine looked great, but for the cost of over spray and over 3 hours of scrubbing off it's not worth it.
I hate the residue
Jordan | Chester, va | 5.12.2013
It looked great a first but if it gets stuffed its hard to fix and then after the shine is gone you have this crappy silicone on your tire that doesn't clean off easy
Good and Bad
James Stewart | , | 5.19.2013
Hi, my name is James and I've been a big fan of all your products for YEARS and have been very happy with everything until this new Black Tire Coat... Here's the good and bad about this new product... As far as the idea of this type of tire shine, that is awesome! After you apply it and let it stand for a few days, it looks SPECTACULAR!!!! My only complaint is once you drive around, everything sticks to it... Dust, pollen and dirt seem to just jump on the tires and then it looks awful... The only way to try to get the debris off the tires is to go to the car wash and pressure wash them clean, but once you go down the road again, it all comes back... I think that the idea of this kind of tire shine is spectacular, we just need to figure out the issue with debris sticking to it... Other than that keep up the great work!!!
Turtle wax black tire coat
Joshua | Walnut Cove, North Carolina | 5.28.2013
I was told this tire shine looked wet at all times so I was convinced to try it because they got me interested at that point. So, I put it on my tires, looked good but they felt sticky but not like all other and has been on for 3 days now and still shine all except around the edges because it came off on my gravel drive way even though I was only going MAYBE 5 MPH just so it wouldn't come off and it did anyway. I put the tire shine on my hard plastic bumpers and they looked better and still shine to. I sprayed it on the casing of my side-view mirror's that are on the doors and they still look good but the over spray got on my windshield and will NOTTTTTT come off. sales it cheaper. Also Turtle wax did not even list the ingredients on the can or box.

The Black Tire Coat is a very very very good product but the sprayer keeps getting clogged.
Hands down the best out there
Kent | Winston Salem, NC | 6.21.2013
I have tried literally every tire shine product there is. Nothing beats this. I treatment and a month later, through several rain storms, multiple washings, my tires are still shiny and black. My friends used to say I should buyy stock in Armor All because I used so much of it. Never again. This stuff is legit. If you want your tires shiny and black and a shine that lasts. Get yourself some of this.
Walter | Stockbridge, Ga | 8.13.2013
I just tried this product for the first time. I must say I'm impressed!! If it lasts as long as it is supposed to,it will make all other products obsolete. It dried clear and wet. Thanks Turtle Wax!
Black Tire Coat
Jeff Kobes | Pulaski, WI | 8.18.2013
It is way better than any other product on the market, however, with a price tag of approximately $12.00, depending where you go, and a guarantee that it will last "Months", ah,.... yea,... "IT DOESN'T LAST MONTHS". A single coat will last the average guy probably 4 - 6 weeks tops. Also, 1 can will be enough to coat an average set of 15" tires twice. Thats it. So, for $12.00 you get a great looking shine for probably 2 months.
This Crap Is Nothing But Work Too Take Off
Taylor | CA | 10.21.2013
I washed and waxed my 2013 dodge challenger rt classic and decided to do something different with my tires. So after cleaning my car I had the turtle wax black tire coat shiny stuff, and started to put it on my tires. after letting it sit an dry for an hour I come back outside and my car is covered in these little dots that looked like someone was spray painting by my car and the wind picked some up and landed on my car. I tried to take it off immediately with some black wax which didn't work so I tried vinegar, and hot soapy water... and guess what it also got on my windows and nothing will take it off the windows either... WTF im so pissed!!!!!!!
Don't know what it's made of but won't come off my glass
rich | Pensacola Florida | 10.28.2013
First impression of results on my tires was very good until I noticed that I somehow the spray got suspended in the air and settled all over my car and windows, don't know what it's made of but acetone and paint thinner won't remove it from my windshield. I followed the instructions exactly and it even got on my truck that was parked next to my car. Stay away from this product, looks good on the tires if you apply a thin coat but the collateral damage is not worth the hassle.
EVERYONE WANTS TO KNOW!!!
fuqua | Memphis, TN | 11.2.2013
I cant tell you how many times while at a red light people roll down their windows and ask me what I used on my tires. No matter if I'm driving or sitting still people always ask what I used on my tires. The funniest comment I got was what did you used on my tire "it looked like a horse licked it!!!!"
I found te way to tae it off
Jose Funes | Humble tx | 11.6.2013
Ok so the shine it's amazing and I had the same problem most of y'all are having but the real trick to it it's to lightly soray it at first so there is no over run. Believe me. With these product the less the better. And te quickest way to take the product off just soak a towel with grease and wax remover and then wipe it against the tire, then roll the Lear material with your fingers and brush all the little pieces of your tire.
Worst Product ever!
Travis Jones | Ga | 11.10.2013
This has to be the worst tire shine EVER! Product does leave a outstanding shine, but turns brown and cracks over a period of time! I spent a lot of money buying other products to remove this garbage! I bought sanding paper, wire brush, paint thinner, also used aircraft paint remover only tofind out none of it worked! I spent a total of 7 hours removing the product from my tires today! If anyone need a how to remove feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I give this product a 0 from 1-10
Use with caution. ..
